Foster is an EC-Council Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) and CMMC Registered Practitioner. He served for 14 years in the U.S. Navy in various roles including as a surface ship officer, cryptologic officer, and Adjunct Professor at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Foster built and led the U.S. Navy’s premier cyber resiliency exercise and co-authored the Secretary of the Navy’s Cybersecurity Readiness Review. He also specializes in cyber risk management and goal-oriented unsupervised Complex Adaptive Systems.

Foster is now a co-founder of BreachBits.
